ABBIA NOVA ROSATO

Low sulfites, low-intervention, no fining, no filtration

The Rosato del Frusinate “Berlame” by Abbia Nova is a wine obtained from two varieties of Cesanese grapes; d’Affile and Nostrano. The vines grow 380-550 meters above sea level and have a yield of 2 kg per vine. Short maceration from 12 to 16 hours, spontaneous fermentation in concrete containers and maturation on full yeasts until spring, the wine is then stored for another 2 months in 54-liter demijohns to decant. Bottled unfiltered and untreated. Elegant and light with wonderful hints of strawberries and currants.
