ANDES PLATEAU COTA 500 CABERNET FRANC

Andes Plateau winery is based in San Fernando in the Colchagua Valley, but the individual vineyards are based in different regions and at varying altitudes in the Andes mountains.

From a small vineyard of one hectare planted on alluvial/old riverbed soils at 900ms altitude in the Cachapoal Valley.

This has an attractive nose of mulberries, plums and wild blackberries with gentle herbaceous notes.

On the palate it is medium bodied and elegant, with ripe, dark mulberry and cassis fruit flavours combined with herbal notes. The tannins are fine and quite serious, but nicely balanced by the fresh, mountain acidity and voluptuous fruit. 14.5% alcohol
