Tempranillo with a splash of Graciano Maturana — Rioja, Spain
A bold and fruit-forward red with aromas of red fruits, sweet spices with a balsamic background. The palate is loaded with red berries mingling with wild herbs, coconut and spice and a creaminess on the finish — from 20 months ageing in new American-oak casks, and a further two years ageing in bottle.
Pairing: patatas brava, a hearty potatoe & chorizo-based stew. Or… Sunday roast, stews, goose or turkey.
