Burdock’s Gamay Fresco is a grape ale made with a barrel-aged saison base that was rested on 2023 Gamay Noir grape skins from Pearl Morissette winery, resulting in a lightly tannic beer with notes of raspberry and cranberry. This barrel-aged beer combines elements of brewing and winemaking, with the Gamay grape providing a fruity and sometimes jammy character to the Burdock brewery’s signature style.
