The Dolcetto for the “Lodoli” is from two crus grown in the Barbaresco zones of Valgrande and Marcarini, bordering on the vines that produce Nebbiolo. This very Piedmontese wine encapsulates the simple pleasures of everyday life.
Intensely aromatic but with delicate fruity overtones reminiscent of cherries, wild strawberries and blackberries. The palate offers balanced acidity and a nice almondy finish. This is a wine made for everyday Piedmont fare – be it pasta, roast fowl, or cheese & meat plates.
