100% natural Jurançon Noir
Alcohol: 11.5% Bottle size: 75cl Age of vines: 20 years Dark purple colour. Strawberry and red berry notes with iron filings minerals. Light in tannins, with beautiful acidity. Ffinish of fruit and spice. Well balanced. Grapes are hand harvested. Rackham is vinified from the Jurançon Noir grape variety. Native to southwestern France, genetically similar to the Folle Blanche (indeed, sometimes Jurancon Noir is called Folle Noir) and Cot. Direct press, 15 day spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts.
