CLOS MANOU MEDOC VIGNES DE 1850 2022

Clos Manou Cuvée 1850 is a discreet wine produced from a plot of Merlot whose pre-phylloxera vines date back to 1850 and have resisted the ravages of this parasite in 19th-century European winemaking. Approximately 600 bottles of Clos Manou Cuvée 1850 are produced.

Decanter (Georgina Hindle): 94 Points. “Brilliant,” she says, noting a well-defined bouquet of black fruits, wild hedgerow, blue fruit, and crushed stones.
Vinous (Neal Martin): 94 Points. Praised for its inky color, vibrant violet edges, and luxurious palate featuring dark fruits, chocolate, and liquorice, describing it as a “standout” for the vintage.
