Tommaso Cortonesi, a third-generation winemaker produces world-class wines in Montalcino. This 2018 is luscious with beautiful aromas of ripe dark fruits; dried cherry, blackcurrant and plums mingling with savoury, spicy notes. It offers a velvety, medium to full-bodied texture with lingering tones of toasted almonds, fresh soil, leather and grilled herbs. Decant for an hour to drink now or hold to 2040.
