DEPAULA MONASTRELL ALMANSA

This 100 per cent Monastrell is grown in Jumilla, Spain using orgainc and biodynamic farming along with natural yeasts to produce this easy-drinking lighter version of the grape that’s fruity with ripe berries, cassis and a lovely herbaciousness. A father and son producer from the Ponce Bodega winery. Juan Antonio Ponce worked as the right-hand man to Telmo Rodriguez (I am a HUGE fan of Telmo wines) for 5 years. During this time he was in charge of winemaking, vineyard management, etc.
