YANN CHAVE HERMITAGE 2017

The estate is managed by Yann Chave, who worked in finance until he decided to return to his passion for wine. After being poisoned by an insecticide, he found organic farming in the early 2000s. The estate was certified in 2007 and now boasts 20 hectares in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage.

Winery notes:
Expressive nose marked by black fruit, such as blackcurrant or cassis. The palate is rich and generous. Aromas of black fruit develop with intensity. Velvety tannins give this wine delicious fullness, with a hint of freshness on the finish.

PAIRING: Young pan-roasted pigeon served with buttered Savoy cabbage, pan-fried rump steak with mashed potato, shavings of mature Mimolette cheese.
