Elegant, Powerful, Silky

A well-balanced Châteauneuf, with notes of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), combined with aromas of violet, covering a long and silky palate. The palate is round and structured.

This cuvée comes from several different terroirs (sand, rolled pebbles, red clay) located in the northern part of the appellation and on the La Crau plateau.
65% old Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault

Domaine de la Janasse Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge should be served between 16 and 18°C. Decant 1 hour before.

Ideal with grilled meats, red meat, lamb legs with herbs or beef stew. To be enjoyed over the next twenty years.
