the name comes from Middle High German and means translated
From the lots, in the Middle Ages, land cultivated together was divided into parcels
and assigned to those involved by drawing lots, in this situation loess soil meets the
Gravel soil from the neighboring Ried Steinberg and the vineyard were built in the early 1960s

Processing/expansion
The warm soil and low yields encourage the end of ripe grape material
October was harvested in high selection, the grapes are selected in the vineyard
and harvested by hand in 20 kg boxes. After a short degumming, the must is added

Wine
Deep, almost “dark” smell of yellow fruits, ripe apples, melons, something
Grapefruit and fresh herbs, strong and full-bodied on the palate, extract-sweet fruit,
melty with delicate hints of tobacco; round but also fresh thanks to its acidity.
