FORADORI PINOT GRIGIO

100% Pinot Grigio. This “fuoripista” or “off-rthe-track” Pinot Grigio is so named partly because of Elisabetta’s unconventional choice to let it macerate with skins for 8 months in clay amphorae. The fruit is sourced from an old pergola-trained vineyard of alluvial sand and gravel soils worked bioynamically by a neighbor. Her first vintage of this wine was 2014
he color itself signals this is no ‘ordinary’ wine,
with its light orange hue, almost dusty pink, which sets it distinctly apart from
the majority of traditional wines.
