The project was born when the French-Danish Rousset family travelled to the southwest coast of South Africa, and the name Idun came from the Norse goddess of eternal life, fertility and apples – for which Elgin is famous. Dense black fruit, cherry, blackberry compote, spices, vanilla, oak, cocoa and white pepper. Elegant and textured with refined tannins and freshness with a long lingering finish.

Pairing: Meaty pasta dishes, BBQ, Grilled Sausage
