Can’t have wine club without at least one Italian Riesling? This is an incredible and highly acclaimed producer. Note high quality Stelvin screwcap, by French company Pechiney. Partly vinified on the skins resulting in a brilliant straw-yellow colour. Intense aromatics and a fruity palate with green apple and ripe peach that’s crisp, fresh, and very well balanced due to its soft texture and lively vigour.
Pairings: creams of vegetable, shellfish, and oven-baked fish in sauce; it goes particularly well with sea bass in almond bechamel.
