LES FRERES ENGEL – ORANGE IN ALSACE

This skin-contact blend from Alsace combines Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, with Gewurztraminer component really singing the loudest. It pours a soft orange hue, opening with citrus peel and gentle spice. The palate is savoury and textured, showing tea-like notes, quince and candied orange with fine, integrated tannins and a fresh finish. A characterful, food-friendly orange wine that benefits from a little air. Wonderful drinking.
