Husband and wife estate on the hills of Cilento overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Raffiella and Luigi Maffini met in enology school, decided to marry and establish a sustainable winery using only the indigenous grapes from Campania, Italy. Soft, rich nose of green Mediterranean fruit and quartz-like stone. The palate reveals a silky, viscous texture (medium to full-bodied) with notes of saline, limestone, and starfruit. A wonderful wine that drinks well young but has proven to develop positively with a few years of bottle age. Food Pairing: Perfect for antipasti, seafood, white meats, grilled pork chops, hard and semi-hard cheeses.
