Grapes: Muller-Thurgau and Riesling
A skin contact white (orange wine) made of two of Germany’s most important white grapes, Muller-Thurgau and Riesling. Marto is the project of Flonheim Martin Wörner, a young winemaker who learned at Gut Oggau and Matassa. He works his vines organically in the Rheinhessen. In the cellar he is completely non-inversionist using all native yeasts, no filtering or fining and no additives, not even sulfite additions. This wine is bright and energetic, with strong notes of citrus peel and goldenberries. Exceptionally well-suited to pairing with dinners of seafood, chicken or green vegetables.
