Mas Martinet is now on to a second generation with current legend Sara Pérez running the estate as well as her own project, Venus la Universal, just outside Priorat in Montsant. She focuses on organic and biodynamic viticulture, wholistic winemaking, and elegance through larger old oak and clay ageing.

The 2017s feel relaxed, something unusual in Priorat. This is truly harmonious and expressive, elegant and powerful, not showing any heat—in fact, it’s showing very much freshness.
