Michter’s Sour Mash returned to the market in 2012, after an absence of over twenty years. Much like sourdough bread, sour mash whiskey uses previously fermented mash as a starter for the new batch. This whiskey delivers flavours of burnt sugar, candied cherry and vanilla, finishing with a rye-grain influenced spicy kick.
