Intense aromas of ripe red fruit leading to notes of plum, cocoa, leather, and black pepper on the palate. Warm, full, and notably tannic, PICURARU matures beautifully, gaining expression over a couple of years.

Pairings: rich legume soups with bacon, robust pasta with meat sauce, and aged cheeses.
