PENINSULA APOSTATA TEMPRANILLO

Apostata Old Vines Tempranillo consists of 100% Tempranillo from the heart of Castile. The continental climate, with sunny days and cool nights, allows the grapes to achieve intense fruit and excellent grape character, while retaining a remarkable freshness. The grapes are harvested by hand to achieve optimal quality, cold macerated for 8-10 days, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at around 20°C to preserve the grape’s character. The wine is finally aged for 12 months in French barriques before bottling. Full and spicy wine with notes of dark berries, bitter gourd, cedar wood and vanilla. The aftertaste is long and balanced with well-integrated tannins.
