Grapes: 50% Carignan, 43% Grenache, 4% Syrah and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon
Place: Priorat, Spain
A family-owned winery located near El Molar in Priorat. Owners Miguel and Merche Perez produce small quantities of distinct and terroir-driven wines from the rugged and isolated hills of Priorat.The wine was aged for 6 months in French oak. Made in an easy drinking style with soft tannins and acids. Aromas ofcrushed red berries, herbal spices notes and red currants. The palate has red cherry and berry fruit mingled with subtle spice; mellow, easy going tannins on the soft finish.

Pairing: grilled chicken with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice and soy sauce marinade garnished with cilantro and lemon
