TBILVINO AKHASHENI

Akhasheni is a naturally semi-sweet red wine made from the Saperavi grape variety. Akhasheni is an appellation for wines produced around Akhasheni village, Gurjaani district, Kakheti region in eastern Georgia. Light berry in colour it is characterized by ripe plum notes and a harmonious velvety taste with a slight hint of chocolate. It contains 11% alcohol, 4% sugar. The wine has been in production since 1958. Pairs well with cherries, cherry pie and variety of soft cheeses.
