TEXIER CHAT FOU ROUGE

Eric Texier gives a nod to the famous Cote-Rotie with a splash of white grapes fermented together with the Grenache to produce a juicy, youthful red wine. This label translates to, “crazy cat.” Aromatic and flavourful — earth, bing cherry, raspberry and singed herbs. This is one of our family house reds — a perfect sipping wine.
Give the wine a little time to show itself and serve slightly chilled and enjoy grapes in a glass with no additives.
Pairing: hearty beef stews, roast chicken with rosemary and cheese … of course
