This is from old 70 year old Serine on Gneiss. Aromatic nose is lively showing mineral-tinged blaThis 100 per cent Serine (Syrah) from the west-side of the Rhone River. A lively, medium-bodied wine with elegance and complex notes of black cherry, violets and the classic meatiness you’d expect from a 100 per cent Rhone Syrah. Pair with roasted and grilled red meats, especially lamb. Decant for at least an hour or age for a couple decades. Incredible value.ck cherry fruit with some peppery notes. The palate is meaty and lively with raspberry and cherry fruit. Fine, structured and grippy with lovely purity. Really tannic. Lots of life here.
