PRESQU’ILE ALIGOTE

Presqu’ile (‘press-keel’) is a family-owned winery in the Santa Maria Valley dedicated to crafting exceptional, cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from Santa Barbara County.

Sometimes referred to as the “3rd grape” of Burgundy, this often overlooked varietal has found a home in sandy soils. This wine has all the classic Aligoté flair with aromas of apple, lemon and slightly herbacious notes. The palate is structured and crisp. A fine wine to enjoy on its own or pair with a roast chicken or simple cream based pastas.
