The Estate
Located in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, Château de Seguin is a family wine estate stretching over 173 hectares (427 acres) of land in one piece with 95 ha planted with vines. The history of Chateau de Seguin is very ancient and starts in 780 when the first castle was built by the Count of Seguin, Administrator of the Emperor Charlemagne. The present buildings were constructed on the foundation of the old castle in the 1780’s. A very old noble past is tied to this land, and the impressive number of buildings shows that the property has always been dedicated to agriculture and winemaking.
