TANTALUS SYRAH

We adore this Syrah for its expressive, bold character and rich density from winemaker David Paterson. Intense aromas of violets and blue fruits, earth, cedar, anise and licorice. The palate is very juicy, with loads of blackberry, dark plum and black cherry. The tannins are fine grained and very well integrated.
Four separate batches of fruit were vinified, each one fermented at slightly different temperatures with different yeasts (including some wild fermentation).
Pairing: anything with bacon, lamb, Moroccan tagine, meatloaf, steak with peppercorn sauce
