The “Peter Barlow” derives its name from the man who bought the property in 1941 and lovingly restored it to become a South African icon in the wine industry. This wine is from the oldest vineyard on the estate, the Peter Barlow is a rich, robust varietal example of the of the exceptional quality and age-ability of Cabernet. A highly collectable wine that will age gracefully with proper cellaring. The wine shows rich aromas of red and black fruits, cedar, and clove, with lively acidity and velvety tannins. Outstanding balance of oak integration and fruit weight, with a long finish.

Pairings: red meat dishes; such as steak, lamb, or even red tuna
