Wine with great aging potential, great aromatic complexity, balanced and ripe tannins. Complex and intense aromas of ripe black fruits, menthol, cedar, spices, wet earth and dry leaves.

In 1999, the experienced French winemaker Jean-Huges Gros arrived in Portugal as a consultant for a large Port wine producing company. Enchanted by the wines produced in the Douro region, he launched his own brand in 2004: Odisséia. Currently, in addition to working as a winemaking consultant for several estates in the region, he is dedicated to producing unique wines that are his own.

Pairings: Mushroom risotto, pasta with mushrooms and mature cheeses.
