Aphros Wines is a project led by Vasco Croft, one of the pioneers of Biodynamic farming and wine-making in Portugal.

The Phaunus is an orange wine made in a facility without electricity and then fermented spontaneously on the skins in beeswax-lined clay amphorae. The juice remains in contact with the skins for about six months. There’s vibrant acidity with good persistence, texture, structure, and length. The stony palate provides lime, lemon verbena, orange peel, melon, mineral, and granite flavors. Try with grilled or baked fish, shellfish, sushi, salads, and fruits.
