A new Barbaresco signed Ca’ del Baio sees the light of day with the 2018 vintage: the Vallegrande Riserva Viti Vecchie is the ultimate synthesis of the Grasso family’s vitivinicultural expressiveness. From the oldest vineyards surrounding the winery comes a Barbaresco with a dense tannic matrix, deep and rich. A patriotic wine that best expresses what the town of Treiso has to offer.

TASTING PROPERTIES

Garnet-red colour; intense, festive bouquet, with enveloping notes of sanguinella orange, violets, blackberries, rhubarb and incense; dry, velvety and harmonious flavour, it closes with a warm and appropriately tannic finish.

PAIRINGS

It goes well with roast or terrine meats, with mature or “fondue” cheeses, and with meat and vegetable soups.
Serving temperature: 18°C

STORAGE

Soft and elegant already 3 years after harvesting, it continues to grow up to 10-15 years. We recommend storing the bottle lying down, in the dark and at a constant temperature.
