The “Vieilles Vignes” vintage is a wine full of finesse, power and harmony. A great Muscadet, recognized by amateurs and professionals alike and regularly awarded prizes in competitions.

Culture and winemaking:
Grape variety: Melon de Bourgogne
Age of the vines: old vines over 40 years old!
Yield: 45 hl/ha
This vintage is a plot selection (schist/mica schist soils)
The bottling of the “Vieilles Vignes” selections takes place in spring or autumn, as is often the case with Muscadet.

Tasting and food and wine pairings:
Color: clear, yellow with green highlights
Nose: intense aromas of rose, acacia, honeysuckle
Palate: typical representative of a great Muscadet sur lie with its good attack, its length and its mineral finish: “the expression of a terroir”
This great Loire wine goes well with fish and white meats, goat cheeses, matured with Muscadet (curé), Marc de Bourgogne (époisse)…
