Gringet – Savoie
Red marl hillside with red clay loaded with iron oxide. South-facing terroir. Vinification: Gentle pressing for seven hours in a horizontal pneumatic press. 24-hour settling. Fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Aged for 9 months on fine lees in ovoid concrete vats (2/3) and stainless steel vats (1/3), then aged for 10 months in bottles. Bottled under vacuum, without fining or filtration. Alcohol content: 13.1%
