JASCI & MARCHESANI NERUBE PECORINO DOC

Located in Vasto, Abruzzo, along the Adriatic coast is the Jasci & Marchesani winery. Founded in 1978 by Sebastiano Jasci, this was one of the earliest Italian wineries to adopt organic farming techniques. With the help of his wife, Lucia Marchesani, Sebastiano started by selling wines exclusively with the locals near the town. He would load up the wines into their little truck and deliver everything himself. Eventually they were joined by their sons Ludovico and Nicola, who manage the winery today.

The Jasci & Marchesani Nerubè Pecorino is made from grapes harvested from vines in Montedorisio. Pale straw in colour, it is light bodied with crisp yellow fruit flavours.A beautiful, dry, fruity and earthy white.
