LUNEAU PAPIN L D’OR 2010

The wine certainly does not disappoint, as it offers up a deep and very precise nose of green apple, lemon, wet stone minerality, gentle notes of ocean breeze and a touch of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and beautifully focused, with a superb core of pure fruit, lovely, ripe acids and simply stunning length and grip on the focused and rock solid finish. This will show more of its leesy influence as the years go by, but today is more citric, stony and briny in personality. A great young bottle of Muscadet, but with the balance to already offer up really superb drinking. 2013-2035.
