MAS MARTINET MENUT

Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Merlot – Spain

Organically farmed, fermented in concrete, aged 8 mos in oak. A bold red with notes of tobacco, black pepper and wild spices with toasted oak top the black cherry, blueberry and blackberry fruit. This wine has terrific concentration for the price, and the lively acidity, along with the minerality from the schisty soil, makes for a great value from the Priorat.

Pairing: bold, peppery dishes: grilled beef with pepper sauce, beef stir fry, grilled vegetables
