PEGAU CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE RESERVEE

Emblem of the Domaine du Pegau, the Cuvée Réservée represents the Domaine over the years.
A blend of 13 grape varieties, mainly Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, the Cuvée Réservée reveals the typical characteristics of the terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Grenache 80%, Syrah 6%, Mourvèdre 4%, Other grape varieties 10%

Aromas of ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry), juniper, pepper and garrigue, evolving towards aromas of stone fruits (prune), leather and undergrowth. The palate is round, generous, powerful and supported by refined tannins. The evolution gives more spicy and complex notes.

Estimated ageing of the wine: 5 to 20 years.
Food pairings: Grilled red meats, a shoulder of lamb with thyme, certain curries
and tapas. Serve at 16°C
