Giusto Occhipinti of COS is a benchmark producer in the Vittoria appellation of The winery was founded in 1980 by three friends, Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano. The winery itself dates back to the 1880’s. Aged 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels, organic, vegan.

A medium bodied, fruity red with a soft palate stucture — notes of cherry, blueberry and tobacco. It has aromas of dried cherry, chocolate, smoke, wild herbs, and exotic spices.

Pairings: Sicilian dishes, red sauce or pizza night.
