The 2020 Zeltinger Riesling trocken “Alte Reben” offers a deep and intense, very aromatic but elegant and slightly flinty bouquet. This is a powerful and elegant Riesling with a saline, stringent and tensioned finish. Tastes like fresh melon, taking a hint of late harvest ripeness into a vibratingly fresh, mineral-driven riesling. It shows some development, finishing with a note of dried hay, while overall this is savory and strong.
